About Glenvine Pet and Equine Crematorium

We opened Glenvine Pet and Equine Crematorium Ltd in 2008, initially for small animals, and then for equines in spring 2010, when we realised there was nowhere in Ireland (North or South) for the cremation of individual horses.

We put a lot of thought and research into the facility, including visiting similar establishments in England to see how they were run.

Glenvine is now in its 10th year of business; we have built up a great relationship with veterinary practices and also clients who return to Glenvine with other beloved pets they have lost, and also return with friends and family whom they have recommended our service to.

For our small animal service, we offer collection from your home or veterinary clinic, or just get in contact and arrange to come directly to the crematorium. We cater for all individual needs.

Being horse owners ourselves, we knew how distressing it was to see our much loved horse or pony being taken to the knacker's yard after it had passed away. We offer all our customers, a complete and dignified service, starting with the collection of the body, and ending with the delivery of the ashes in a beautiful chest or casket of your choice.

We would like to point out that each animal is cremated whole, and we went to great lengths to ensure our incinerator is big enough to take the largest of equines.

We are D.A.R.D approved and have all the regulatory and legal requirements, and as we're a family run business we offer a more caring and personal touch, which is very important to us. We also offer if required a bereavement service through the Blue Cross for both large and small animals.

We cover all areas of Ireland and prices vary according to requirements.
